GAC Toyota WILDLANDER is a mid-size SUV under GAC Toyota, which is developed based on the TNGA architecture.
Exterior Design
The WILDLANDER’s design retains a large number of cutting polygonal shapes. The upper grille and the slender and sharp headlights on both sides are integrated, reflecting a sense of horizontal stretching. The lower grille incorporates a spindle-shaped grille design, paired with the fog light grilles on both sides, showing the vehicle’s design concept of being both tough and gentle.
Interior and Configuration
Comfort and Convenience：The center console of the WILDLANDER adopts a large number of horizontal polygonal designs. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch liquid crystal instrument (the entry-level version is 4.2 inches) and a 10.25-inch floating thin central control screen. In addition, it is also equipped with a foot-kick induction electronic tailgate with five-angle opening and memory functions.
Intelligent System：The vehicle’s infotainment system supports three wireless mobile phone connectivity functions: Baidu CarLife, Huawei HiCar, and Apple CarPlay. High-end models are equipped with a voice recognition control system.
Power and Performance
Engine Options：The WILDLANDER has 2.0L gasoline and 2.5L twin-engine hybrid versions. The 2.0L engine has a thermal efficiency of 40%, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 5.7L per 100 kilometers. The 2.5L engine has a thermal efficiency of 41%, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 4.6L per 100 kilometers.
Transmission System：The 2.0L model is equipped with a Direct Shift-CVT gearbox, while the 2.5L twin-engine hybrid model uses an E-CVT gearbox.
Four-wheel Drive System：The four-wheel drive models of the WILDLANDER are equipped with three rare four-wheel drive systems in the same class, namely DTC intelligent four-wheel drive, DTV dynamic vector four-wheel drive, and E-FOUR electronic four-wheel drive for twin-engine hybrid models.
Safety Features
The WILDLANDER is equipped with Toyota’s latest Toyota Safety Sense intelligent safety system, which can achieve quasi-L2 level autonomous driving and mainly has four functions: PCS pre-collision safety system, DRCC dynamic radar cruise control system, LTA lane tracing assist system, and AHB automatic high beam adjustment system.
