VELITE 6 The multifunctional sports sedan combines the design elements of sedans, MPVs and SUVs, combining dynamic styling with practical space. The body adopts an innovative crossover form, with short front overhang, wide wheelbase and hatchback rear design to optimise aerodynamic performance and further reduce wind resistance. The interior is inspired by “goodness is like water”, using a floating wing layout and deep sea blue colour scheme, with faux-suede skin-friendly materials and piano black veneer, creating a cabin that combines a sense of technology with an elegant atmosphere. The interior space is flexible and versatile, with a flat floor in the rear and seats that can be folded down in 4/6, expanding the luggage compartment from 455 litres to 1,098 litres to meet diversified storage needs.

In terms of performance and safety, the VELITE 6 is equipped with Buick’s eMotion intelligent electric drive system, and offers two range versions: the early model has a NEDC working range of 301km (battery capacity 35kWh), and the subsequent long range version boosts it to 410km (the battery capacity is unspecified, but the power consumption is optimised to 13.1kWh/100km). The maximum power of the motor is 85kW (early) and 110kW (long range version), with a torque of 255N-m. It supports strong/medium/light energy recovery modes in three gears, making the driving experience close to that of a traditional fuel car. In terms of battery safety, it adopts seven 13 types of extreme tests, including puncture, fire, etc., and is equipped with aerospace-grade nano aerogel thermal insulation materials and dual-frame high-strength steel protection structure, while the whole vehicle has passed the highest functional safety level certification of ASIL D to ensure collision safety and thermal stability.

Intelligent and service system is another highlight of VELITE 6. It is equipped with Buick eConnect 2.0 connectivity technology, which supports OTA remote upgrade, Super ID account connectivity, virtual key and cloud voice interaction, and the 10-inch centre control screen adopts a card-type split-screen design for convenient operation. In terms of charging services, car buyers can get an exclusive smart charging pile, and through iBuick APP integration of mainstream networks such as Special Call, Star Charge, etc., to achieve one-stop charging management. In addition, Buick provides new energy exclusive service solutions, covering finance, used car warranty and high-voltage system maintenance certification, comprehensively eliminating users’ worries.
